You can rely on Bick + Letzel GmbH to take care of all the technical applications relating to equipment and container construction. We cover laboratory and industrial applications for a wide range of media.

We've been producing complex containers in steel and stainless steel, shell-and-tube heat exchangers for cooling and heating processes and all kinds of fully assembled technical equipment for pressure preparation, filter systems, measuring methods and many other applications for our customers for years.

We understand that you need the highest quality standards from us and we have all the certificates to reassure you that we will deliver. We work with all the standard welding techniques in line with European or ASME standards.

Our highly qualified, flexible and dedicated team is here to help you with cost-efficient, fast solutions whenever you need them.

Key facts

  • Vessels in line with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU
  • AD 2000 regulations (document HP0))
  • ASME approval
  • German Water Resources Act (WHG)

Example projects

Hydraulic steel structures

Static and dynamic structures for water management

We can create and maintain weirs, locks and hydropower plant technology, with all of the steps taken care of by experienced professionals (see the list of key facts below).

It goes without saying that we can also help you plan and assemble components on the ground and handle all the required testing along with approval and documentation.

When it comes to hydraulic steel structures, the fact that we have our own loading port on the Main River with a 2.8-metre-deep waterway for inland vessels measuring up to 110 metres allows us to keep projects running cost-efficiently. Our production facilities have the capacity to produce extremely large and heavy components in one piece.

We have our own corrosion protection department, so we can protect the components we produce against corrosion right away. This saves on the cost of transporting them to another location for this step.

Key facts

  • 450-tonne crane
  • Own loading port for inland vessels measuring up to 110 metres
  • Proper disposal (including asbestos and PAH)
  • Compliance with DIN 19704
  • DIN 124/DIN 302 steel rivets suitable for hydraulic engineering

  • Disassembly/assembly of weir structures
  • Sluice gates
  • Emergency gates
  • Emergency repairs
  • Own rivet column
  • German Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV)/TRGS 519 and 551 Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances
  • Coating removal/corrosion protection

Pipeline construction

Pipeline systems with any dimensions

Bick + Letzel GmbH covers each and every aspect of traditional pipeline construction. That includes the planning, measurements, design, strength calculation including support and the full production of pipeline systems.

Our certified quality standards also allow us to produce systems that need to be monitored, such as in the context of nuclear power, the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU and the German Water Resources Act. Mandatory pressure tests and non-destructive testing also fall within the scope of our services.

We can produce pipeline systems with any dimensions. When it comes to materials, we have experience of working with austenitic, ferritic, high-temperature and duplex steels.

Our experienced and flexible team is on hand to provide you with solutions at short notice and on schedule.

Key facts

  • Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU
  • AD 2000 regulations (document HP0 and HP100R)
